Alaina Wong-Canissario

Writer and Marketing Strategist

With a background in the corporate marketing world, I excel at teamwork, leadership, and project management. I started my career in book publishing, developing retail and consumer marketing campaigns aimed at parents, teens, and adults. More recently, I've worked in the Media & Entertainment industry to grow and monetize brands, in both Brand Management and Live Events marketing roles. My experience also encompasses B2B, where I've created integrated marketing plans and pitches to new clients.

My interest in writing and sharing stories has always made me gravitate toward opportunities to put my writer's hat on. Throughout my marketing career, I've written branded promotional copy for both consumer-facing pieces like e-mails, ads, and social posts, to B2B communications like style guides and corporate newsletters.
