PARENTAL LEAVE COVER

If one of your Brand Managers or Marketing team members will be going on parental leave, who will cover their role while they're away? Plan ahead and ensure things don't fall behind with my Parental Leave Cover package! I'll work with you and your employee to ensure a seamless transition on both ends of their parental leave period.

Typically I have worked with companies as an independent contractor (1099 contractor) for this type of role, on an hourly rate basis. Currently I offer fractional support, 10-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling that can be tailored to your needs. I've supported clients on a remote basis in the past, but am open to in-person roles if your business is based in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area.

1-3 WEEKS PRIOR TO LEAVE

I'll meet with your soon-to-be "on leave" employee and clarify the key priorities for covering their role. In addition to requesting access to necessary systems and documents, I'll connect with other team members and key contacts. Finally, I'll jump in and start managing their day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring a smooth transition while they are still available to answer questions and offer guidance.

THE LEAVE PERIOD

While your employee is on leave, I'll act as an essential member of your team, representing your interests in cross-functional meetings, guiding projects to completion, and ensuring key priorities are met. I'll look to uphold your company's brand standards and established processes, while offering new ideas and suggestions if the need arises.

1-3 WEEKS AFTER RETURN

Prior to your employee's return, I'll have prepared a thorough handover document with current project statuses and links to any necessary digital files. I'll meet with them to review everything and transfer project ownership back to them on an agreed-upon timeline. In addition, I'll provide them with a recap of any projects that were completed while they were on leave.
